Royal Vacation Club Review

R

THIS IS A SCAM!!!! I bought a vacation package from Royal Vacation Club in February 2016. When I did so, I was told that I would have hundreds of hotels to choose from and could book my vacation at any time. I was told that I would not have to sit through any “tours” or “information sessions”. When I called to book my reservation, the story was completely different. Not only were there 1-2 hotels per area, but there were only about 5 areas within the US available. In addition to that, I was told that I would have to sit through a 2 hour tour during my stay, which was completely different than what I was told when I purchased the package. Not only was I going to have to sit through the tour, but so was my wife. We have a 13 month old and I explained that my wife sitting through the tour was not an option. They told me that child care would be provided and that she was required to sit through it. I laughed and told them that I would not be leaving my child with a stranger. | I requested to speak to a member of management. I was told that a member of management would be calling me to discuss the issues. I heard nothing. When I called back, I was told, “the member of management decided not to call me back, because there was nothing they could do for me.” | REALLY?? You cant even call a customer back and work with them through an issue?? That is just piss poor customer service. | I strongly advise you to not do business with this company so that you can prevent being scammed like I was!
