Purchased this Home Warranty in July 2012. Our 2 year old LG Dryer went out in Oct 2012. After contacting CHW was sent a contractor that they assigned. He came and looked at the dryer and said he needed to order the part. We paid our $45 Service Call Fee and have never seen this man again. It is now Feb 2013 and CHW said they do not have any other contractors in our area (Montgomery AL) to work on LG dryers. They would have to “buy us out”” and will send us a check for $116.00. The part alone is $110.00. They said I would have to find my own repair company. I asked how am I going to find anyone to fix it for $6.00. We have been waiting 5 months for our dryer to be fixed. We have asked for CHW to follow through with their end of the bargain. We have requested a refund of our $45.00 that was paid to the contractor they sent to our house. They do not follow up

you try to ask to speak to a supervisor and they say that I am in a “”que”” to speak to a supervisor. I have been in this “”que”” for 3 months. nThis is a simple dryer that has stopped working and they can do nothing but keep giving us the run-around. We have asked for a refund of our contract since they can not help us. Now almost 6 months later we have no dryer

out the service call fee and out the $350+ paid to Colonial Home Warranty. I am surprised this company is allowed to cheat people out of money and time like this and continue to get away with it. nIt is time for a lawsuit!!”
