I purchased an almost $800 Frigidaire refrigerator locally in August 2009. This appliance has been a problem from the start, first icicles formed on the inside of the freezer door and small flies got inside the bottom, next the refrigerator made an awful noisy racket, then the refrigerator stopped running and all my frozen food defrosted. The merchant sent repairmen the first two times. The third time they came and got the refrigerator. That was three (3) weeks ago and they are saying it may be another week before it is returned. I opened a complaint file with Electrolux, the manufacurer, but they have been of little help. They just call and talk to the merchant and tell me what he already told me. I think this appliance is a lemon. They will not even consider a replacement until the third repair. He failed to report one of the repairs–of a fan and motor! Now, seven months later, I am out nearly $800.00, have no refrigerator and cannot seem to get satisfaction from either the merchant or Electrolux. I will never recommend that anyone buy from Cantrell’s nor from Electrolux/Frigidaire. Seems they are trying to run out the warranty.
