I purchased sunglasses as favors for a birthday party on 8/25/19 with there 2-7 days shipping it was enough time to arrive for my party. I got an email confirmation right away (within a few days) of my order being received but on-hold until payment was received and then a few hours later an email that they received my payment and were processing my order. I didn’t hear anything after that, so I emailed to request a follow up on if the order would now make the party date. Linda S replies "we just found out that PayPal did not release your order payment to us, citing some nonsense issue. so we have refunded your order. In case the refund did not go through, please dispute this payment with PayPal or your credit card company. PayPal has your order amount. you will get your money back from them, for sure…..we removed PayPal option from our site since we had similar issue with other orders as well"I called PayPal- thank goodness they have better customer service. They opened a claim, said the merchant had to request the refund from their business PayPal account but that they didn’t do that so PayPal was going to try to contact them with a claim request. After 10 days PayPal emails me that BestPriceFavors did NOT respond to them so they are refunding my money. I had emailed this Linda S person back as well with no response. I am grateful that PayPal is a reputable company and that even though I was excited for these favors they were not for my wedding or huge significant event. Now after reading the other complaints I wonder if this is a scam business and if anyone has even successfully gotten a product from them.
